WISHH Baby Loss Appeal Reaches £83,000! Thanks to Incredible Support from Hospital Staff and Friends

The WISHH Charity’s Baby Loss Appeal has now reached an incredible £83,000, following two major fundraising events last month that raised over £10,500 thanks to the dedication of hospital staff and friends.

A team of eleven runners proudly represented WISHH at the Great North Run, raising more than £7,800 for the Charity. Meanwhile, eight walkers completed the challenging Yorkshire Three Peaks, contributing a further £2,700. Of this total, a fantastic £7,600 has been specifically raise for the WISHH Baby Loss Appeal, bringing the Appeal even closer to its £100,000 fundraising target

The WISHH Baby Loss Appeal will see the refurbishment of the bereavement suite at Hull Women and Children’s Hospital, a space used by over 100 families in the past year, providing a peaceful and private environment where families can spend precious time with their babies. Funds raised will also help renovate six quiet rooms and improve the entrance and exit of the Early Pregnancy Unit, creating a more sensitive experience for families during a deeply difficult time.
