WISHH is the official charity supporting patients of Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. Although we are an independent Charity, we work in partnership with local NHS staff, management, patients and supporters to enhance healthcare experiences beyond what standard NHS funding can provide.

At WISHH we look to enhance the experience of people who receive their care at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.

Established 10 years ago, the WISHH Charity has spent a decade working independently to support our local Hull Hospitals. Over the past ten years, your generosity has funded specialist equipment, enhanced patient care and brought comfort when it was most needed.

As an independent charity, our role is to complement—not replace—NHS funding. We listen to patients, families and hospital staff to identify where charitable investment can make the greatest difference. When NHS funding cannot provide something exceptional, WISHH steps in.

We are immensely proud of our wide-ranging achievements over the years. Most recently thanks to  your support we successfully launched and delivered our Baby Loss Appeal, providing dedicated, compassionate spaces for grieving families during their darkest times. Alongside this, we have invested in the people who look after you by making major improvements to staff restroom facilities, giving our hardworking NHS teams across both hospital sites the bright, restful environments they deserve.

We have recently invested in the growth of our team, expanding our fundraising expertise and operational resources, to enable us to have an even bigger impact across the hospitals.

Our vision is that every patient of Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital will see or feel the difference that WISHH makes. We invite everyone who shares that ambition to join us on the next stage of our journey.
