What is easyfundraising?

easyfundraising is a free fundraising platform that allows us to earn money when you shop online. They’re partnered with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to WISHH. It won’t cost you any extra as the cost is covered by the brand. If you make a purchase, a commission is generated, and easyfundraising turn that into a donation – magic!

How do I use easyfundraising?

Creating your account only takes a few minutes! Firstly, you need to create an account on the easyfundraising website or app (search for “easyfundraising” on Apple or Android devices). For a limited time only, easyfundraising will double your first £5! Sign up to easyfundraising and double your donation here! to get started.

Once you’re there, you can click on “Find a cause to support” and search for WISHH Charity.

It should be easy to locate WISHH under causes, but should you have any issues setting up your account, please feel free to get in contact with us and we can happily assist you. By clicking on “WISHH Charity – The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals Health Charity”, it will take you to our charity page. Click “Sign up and support this cause”.

You will then be taken to the “Start fundraising today” page. There are a number of ways to sign up – through Apple, Facebook or using your email address. Fill in your details and click “Create my account”.

Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping – it’s that easy! In the app, simply search the brand and select “Shop now”. This will take you to the website or brand app, if you have it installed.

How much do brands donate when I shop with them?

Most brands pay a % of what you spend with them as a donation, for example if you spend £150 on a hotel via booking.com, they will donate 3% which is £4.50. Some retailers pay a flat amount, for example is you buy car insurance with confused.com via easyfundraising, they will donate a flat £15 regardless of the cost of the policy.

Will using easyfundraising impact my loyalty points on websites I shop with?

No, for the main loyalty point providers the collection of points is unaffected when you shop via easyfundraising. If you want to double check a specific website or retailer, email support@easyfundraising.org.uk

How does the cause I support get paid the donations?

easyfundraising collect payment details from a cause when they register on the platform. Then, once a quarter, they send across all donations which have been paid out by the brands. A cause needs to hit a minimum threshold of £15 before a payment is triggered.

Does using easyfundraising make my online spend more expensive?

No. Using easyfundraising does not add any cost to your online shopping. The brand covers the cost of the donation meaning it’s 100% free to use.
