£250,000 available to improve patient experience across Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill hospital
We are looking for a range of projects and initiatives, large and small, from NHS staff, with values ranging from £50 to £50,000. This is your chance to make a real difference for your patients.

- Improvements to patient waiting areas
- Enhancements that protect patient privacy and dignity
- Items such as specialist chairs, bedding, or lighting
- Initiatives designed to improve the experience of vulnerable patients
Enhancing the Hospital Environment
- Creating welcoming, calming, and therapeutic spaces
- Decorative items, sensory features, or environmental improvements to support wellbeing
- Improvements to waiting areas, wards, and communal spaces
- Projects that reduce anxiety and promote healing
- Enhancing the patient day: entertainment, distraction or communication tools
Strengthening Communication
- Enhance communication with patients and families
- Visual aids to help explain treatments and procedures
